Keoladeo National Park, Rajasthan
Formerly known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park is located approx 190 km from Delhi in the state of Rajasthan. Till 1981, it was famous as a bird sanctuary but due to continuous killing of birds, efforts were made to convert it into a national park and finally in the year 1982 it was notified as a National park. Later in the year 1985 it was listed as a world heritage site. Popular attractions are Siberian Cranes and Ruddy Shelducks.

Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan
Flanked by the exotic hill ranges of Vindhya and Aravali, thisl Park is situated in Rajasthan. In the year 1980, it was declared National Park and was also included as a reserve protected under Project Tiger (1973). It is famous for its tigers, boars and leopards.

Sariska National Park, Rajasthan
Spread over an area of 800 sq. meters, Sariska offers exotic wildlife. A national park and a tiger reserve, this place also houses Neelkanth Temple, Hot and Cold Springs of Taalvriksh, and the Bharthari Temple. The attractions here are its Four Horned Dear, Leopard and Caracal.

Corbett National Park, Uttar Pradesh
Categorized as India’s finest national park, Jim Corbett National Park covers a total of 52, 082 hectares land. The beauty is enhanced by the Ramganga River that nurtures this huge low valley and by the Kalagarh’s Dam that forms a lake to its west. Apart from abundant wildlife it offers sightseeing at Dhikala, Corbett Museum and Garjia Temple. During this tour you will find yourself wandering between wild Elephants, Hog Deer, Chital and several grassland raptors and birds. The highlights of Park are Tigers, elephants and leopards.

Kaziranga National Park, Assam
It is home to the great Indian rhino, popularly known as one horned rhinoceros. Gir National Park, Gujarat

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kerala
It is situated in Western Ghats range of Kerala. At the heart of the sanctuary, an exotic lake compliments the natural aura. Nagarhole National Park, Karnataka
80 kms away from Mysore city, you will find one of the finest national parks of India. Spread over 64330 hectares, Nagarhole National Park has an astounding wealth of wildlife leaded by huge elephant and bison population. Major attractions of this wildlife park are leopard, tiger, wild elephant, Indian wild dog (dhole), and Indian bison (gaur).

Bandipur National Park
Located near Nagarhole National Park is another exquisite forest reserve known as Bandipur National park which is adjoined to Wynad and Madumalai national parks, constitute the Nilgiri biosphere reserve. Spread over an area of 87,420 hectares, you will get a chance to observe Bonner Macaque, Nilgiri Langur, Smooth-coated Otter, Stripe-necked Mongoose, Common Palm Civet, Tiger, Jungle Cat, Wild Boar, Indian Grey Mongoose, Striped Hyena Indian Porcupine, Leopard, Cat Leopard, Elephant, Four-horned Antelope, Red Giant Flying squirrel etc. For accommodation, forest department maintains its own fairly priced cottages, lodges and rest houses.

Sanjay Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary, Maharashtra
Popularly known as Borivali National Park, this wildlife sanctuary is a perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of Mumbai’s daily life. Blessed with rich flora and fauna, the species of birds that can be found here are Woodpeckers, Jungle Owlets, Magpies, Hornbills, Racket-Tailed Drongos, Minivets, Peacock, Robins, Sunbirds, and Golden Orioles.
