 The third day is full of adventure as you visit wildlife sanctuaries in Sawai Madhopur in first half and historical monuments of Chittaurgarh in later half of the third day. Your excursion will start after you have a healthy morning breakfast on board.
Sawai Madhopur – Tiger City
The city inherits its name from its founder Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I. A visit is organized to Ranthambhore National Park, where ruins of a 10th century fort are situated. It is considered to be Nation’s best wildlife sanctuary to observe and click actions of tigers. Spread over 392sq. km, this sanctuary inhabits over 300 species of birds with tiger, jackal, fox and hyena contributes to the population of carnivorous. Sawai Madhopur is famous for its toys, ethnic jewelry and attires. Later you return back to train and leave for Chittaurgarh.
Chittaurgarh – the land of historical fort
On your way to Chittaurgarh you will find yourself lost in the fascinating sketch drawn by passing sunlight on the canvas of nature. Located on top of a 180 m high hillock, great Chittor Hill fort is spread over an expanse of 700 acres.
