Day: 01 Arrive Delhi

Delhi, the capital of India, will be your first destination as a part of Bandhavgarh wildlife tour. On arrival at Delhi airport you will be greeted and received by eLand Holidays representative. You will be transferred to your pre booked hotel. On your way to hotel you will be pleased to see the infrastructure of this amazing city. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day: 02 Delhi

As soothing sun welcomes you on the morning of second day, your day will get a delightful start in Delhi. After breakfast you will proceed for the sightseeing tour that will take you back to the times of Indian history. Old Delhi the erstwhile ruling seat of the Mughals, still lives the essence of those culturally rich days. Architecture of this part of city obviously belongs to the Mughal School of architecture. Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, and Red Fort are the main highlights of Old Delhi.
In later half of the day you will visit the imperial Delhi whose design was laid down by the British during their ruling days in India. This part of the city will amaze you with its highly developed infrastructure. Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, which are the major attraction for tourists, belong to Mughals only. Connaught place, the white circular shopping arcade is the favorite hangout place for foreigners. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Later in the evening you will be transferred to railway station to board the overnight train for Bandhavgarh.

Day: 03 Arrival in Bandhavgarh

Bnadhavgarh National Park is located in the Umaria district of the central Indian state Madhya Pradesh. Spread over a vast area of 105 sq km (with buffer of 437 sq km), Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in the year 1968. Bandhavgarh means ‘Brother’s Fort’. The reserve derives its name from the great Hindu epic of Ramayana. It is believed that this hillock was given by Lord Rama to his younger brother Lakshmana to keep his eyes on Lanka.
The abundant biodiversity of this National park has listed it as one of the most famous wildlife destinations. Known for its dense tiger population the place is a in itself a unique feature of the jungle. On arrival at Bandhavgarh you will be transferred to your pre booked resort by our rep. Overnight will be at the resort.

Day: 04 Bandhavgarh National Park

Breakfast will be followed by the Nature walk through the thick forest. The park has a huge breeding population of Leopards, and diverse species of deer. The highest density of Bengal tigers known in the world is found in Bandhavgarh. Tourists are restricted to an area of 105 sq km of the park, richest in terms of biodiversity and known as the Tala range. Magdhi, Kallwah, Khitauli and Panpatha are the other four ranges into which the park has been divided. The wide variety of wildlife, 22 species, seen in the Bandhavgarh National Park is sure to leave its visitors mesmerized. However, most of the tourists come here to watch the tiger in its full glory. The other wild animals that can be seen here include Common Langur, Rhesus Macaque, Sloth Bear, Striped Hyena, Leopard, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Nilgai, Chinkara, Small Indian Civet, etc.
Overnight will be at Resort.

Day: 05 Bandhavgarh - Delhi

Morning and evening explore the Bandhavgarh national park on elephant back. Bandhavgarh National Park of India boasts of more than 150 species of birds. This includes the migratory birds, like steppe eagle, that come here in winter. The main bird species are those of White Bellied Drongos, Black And White Malabar Hornbills, Blossom Headed Parakeets, Gold Fronted Leaf Birds, Minivets, Paradise Flycatchers, Black Vulture, White-eyed Buzzard, Red Jungle Fowl, etc.
Later in the evening you will board the train to reach back to Delhi. Overnight will be on board.

Day: 06 Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, you will be received by our representative at the railway station. From there you will be transferred to International airport for flight to your onward destination. As this short and exciting tour comes to an end you will take back amazing memories of the jungle that will be with you for whole of your life.
